HammerHead® 12 Bolt

The HammerHead® IRS 12 Bolt Housing is the first product we brought to market in 2013. It is a cast aluminum differential housing that takes 12 bolt GM gears. It is cast in A206-T4 aluminum 32% stronger than the popular A356-T6 aluminum. The 12 bolt HammerHead is cast with multiple applications built into the housing including:

  • 5th Gen Camaro (Pontiac G8/Chevy SS/Caprice PPV/Holden Commodore)
  • C2 Corvette
  • C3 Corvette
  • C4 Corvette (using Dana 44 rear cover)
  • Gen 1 Viper (using Dana 44 rear cover)
  • Gen 2 Viper (using Dana 44 rear cover)
  • HammerHead NitroPlated Inside
  • HammerHead NitroPlate Top
